Hand forged and hammered copper hairpin. Rustic textured finish with a vintage feel.
For long thicker hair a large and a medium is recommended, two mediums for long thinner hair, and the small size are good for other hairstyles where you might want a bit more control over the details. A messy bun can be easily achieved with just one large or medium, but if you want your pins to be visible or like more control of your hair then you can use as many as you like ;)
Each order comes with a cotton travel pouch and a polishing cloth designed for brass and copper products. Your pins can be polished after handling and stored in the bag when not in use to avoid tarnishing of the metal, or left unpolished to allow the metal to tarnish and discolour for an interesting and unique effect!
Please note that copper is slightly softer than brass and tarnishes a lot more easily.
